USA Today Picks "Man I Used To Be" as "Song of the Week"

On January 22, USA Today, the national American daily newspaper with the widest circulated print newspaper in the United States (1.8 Million), featured Seth Glier's "Man I Used To Be" as their "Song of the Week". The track, off of Seth's latest release "Things I Should Let You Know", leads as the current focus track at commercial and non-commercial radio.

USA Today describes [In "Man I Used To Be"] "Glier's in a city of prophets and poets, stripped of ideals, wondering 'if I gave up or just gave in.' He's not completely lost - the song's lustrous chorus lights his way back."


Paste Magazine Premiers Music Video For "Things I Should Let You Know"

Music tastemaker publication, Paste Magazine, has premiered Seth's new music video for the title track off his new album "Things I Should Let You Know". Shot in Massachusetts just before New Year's Eve, Seth and video director Zack Sweeney take us on a dark journey set to the haunting, atmospheric title track.

After the initial premiere, carefully curated music video platform Baeble Music, featured Seth's the video as one of their current favorites. Self-described as a "tour-de-force" of music video programming, Baeble Music are part of the globally syndicated video community, whose high quality lineup also makes the jump to traditional, established TV networks and into 38 million cable homes via Concert TV's Video On Demand channel and several international broadcasters.


Seth's Album Featured on AOL Music!

One of the Internet's largest portals, AOL, is featuring Seth's new album "Things I Should Let You Know" in their Full CD Listening Party this week (Feb. 4th - 8th)! Ebiz, the eBusiness Knowledgebase ranks AOL Music #6 in their Top 15 Most Popular Music Websites of Feb 2013, with an estimated 6.4 million unique visitors monthly. The 5-day feature in the short month of Februrary, would equate to about 21% of their total monthly exposure, making it possible for an estimaged 1,344,000 unique impressions!

Acoustic Cafe feature & momentum growing at radio

Seth's live session for the nationally syndicated radio show Acoustic Cafe with host Rob Reinhart, is currently airing on their 100+ syndicated stations. The performance features live versions of "Plastic Soldiers", "New World I See" and "The Stars & Glitter" from Seth's new album "Things I Should Let You Know".

After debuting on FMQB's Non-Comm Chart last week, the album jumped another 40+ spots to #142. Station adds include:

CD Release Tour - Going Strong!

Seth's CD release tour has taken off and is a great success, with sold-out shows in Michigan markets: Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Spring Lake, and Lansing, as well as back-to-back sell outs in Chicago, IL. His New York City CD release show nearly sold out, and he's looking at possible sold out shows in Northampton, MA, St. Petersburg, FL and Charlotte, NC.

His upcoming Boston-area CD release show at Club Passim (47 Palmer, Cambridge, MA) is on February 15th at 8:00 PM. We encourage you to reach out an invite your Boston-area contacts, colleagues and friends to the show! Email Melanie Rodriguez for guest list accommodations.

Seth @ MPressFest SXSW 2013 & Folk Alliance International

Seth returns to Folk Alliance this year for their International conference, based in Toronto, ONT from Feb 21-23. In addition to numerous guerilla performances, his official slot takes place on Sat. Feb. 23rd at 6PM in Mountbatten B.

Seth is also a speaker on the Music & Social Justice panel on Feb 23rd., along with artists Catie Curtis, Dar Williams, Melissa Ferrick, Joe Jencks and Darryl Purpose. They will be discussing "What role music can play in social change?" "How politics influences their writing?" and "How they are making a difference?" among other topics.
